Constable Ashish Choubey, who was deployed at the temple for security, also threw notes in the air while dancing. Four more cops reportedly accompanied the constable in his dance.

The incident came to light after a news channel aired the video clip following which senior superintendent of police Akash Kulhari suspended Chaubey. Chaubey was deployed at the Reserve Police Lines.

“Efforts are on to identify the other cops. We will take disciplinary action against them as well,” said SSP Kulhari. The SSP also asked police personnel to refrain from such activities while they are on duty. Strict action would be taken against them for indulging in anti-disciplinary activities.
