A 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her stepfather at knifepoint when she was alone at the house, police said on Saturday.

The victim was alone at the house a day ago, as her mother had gone out for work, when her stepfather, Khushrud came home and raped her, a police spokesperson said.

The accused later threatened to kill her if she revealed about the incident to anyone, he added.

The woman's mother had married Khushrud, a resident of Tikakheda, 20 years ago after divorcing her father, police said.

The victim was living with her two children at her mother's house in Jeevan Nagar in Gaunchi village, he said.
