UPEMOA celebrates diamond jubilee

THE UP Educational Ministerial Officers’ Association (UPEMOA) celebrated its diamond jubilee at the BNSD Siksha Niketan here on Saturday.

Schoolchildren of the BNSD Shiksha Niketan presented Godess Sarswati Vandana and welcome song.
Seventy-four former office-bearers of the association were felicitated on the occassion. Delivering the introductory address, former state president of the association Ram Kant Shukla said the association was formed in 1931.
A book on the occasion was released by deputy director education Shashi Dubey. The programme was presided over by deputy director (camp) KN Awashthi.
Mandal president and convener of the programme DP Srivastva gave the vote of thanks. State organising secretary Surya Narain Tripathi, who came from Basti to attend the function, said the association was fully engaged in the welfare of members and also committed to proper development of education system.
Mandal secretary Indrajeet Shau explained the future plan of the association.
Other prominent members present on the occasion DIOS of Kanpur city SP Diwedi, DIOS of Kanpur Dehat CL Chaurasia, Rajan Tondon, Badri Mishra, HK Chaudhari, state president of the association Ishwar Chand, KP Srivastva and Rajendra Bajpai.
