Officers of the UPSRTC too joined their agitating staff. Recently, back Roadways Employees Union had threatened to block major crossings of the city and today they staged road blockade when administration ignored their long pending problem.
Addressing the members of union, Ramji Tripathi, president of Roadways Employees Association said, “We had warned the administration to take actions against private buses and jeep owners, but nothing concrete has been done so far by them.” He also said that if administration did not check the private passenger vehicles commuting to and from Fazalganj crossing then they would jam all the crossings of the city in future.
Hundreds of private jeeps and buses ferry passengers from Fazalganj crossing incurring huge revenue losses to UPSRTC. Mostly passengers going to Orai and Jhansi and other places en route board vehicles from Fazalganj crossing.
