A TWO-DAY national seminar on ‘Doorasth Siksha ke Ayaam’ will be organised by Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) at the administrative building at 10 am on Wednesday.

UPRTOU public relation officer PC Mishra said in a Press release that the seminar will be inaugurated by UP minister for higher education Ram Asre Vishwakarma, while UPRTOU vice-chancellor Prof KNS Yadav would preside over the seminar.
Convenor of the seminar Prof SP Gupta said, delegates from several universities and educational institutions of Delhi, Uttaranchal, Bihar and Rajasthan would participate in the seminar.
The main topics of the discussion would include different dimensions of distance education, concept of distance education, use of information and communication techniques in distance education, student assistance and qualitative advancement of distance education and comprehensive subjects.
Meanwhile, SAF Scholarship Committee co-ordinator Prof AN Dwivedi said, the students interviewed on December 2, 2005, whose names have been recommended to the SAF headquarters in New Delhi that a SAF scholarship distribution function will be held at the UPRTOU administrative building at 11 am on April.
Prof KNS Yadav will be the chief guest at the function and distribute scholarships to the students.
