Upul Chandana is one of the few utility cricketers in Sri Lanka who add to the team's strength. His leg-spinners are deceptive and when combined with Muralitharan, the champion off-spinner of Sri Lanka, the combination can be lethal.

An electrifying fielder, Chandana sweeps the outer ring, always eager to bat positively and add to the team's score. At times, he's also capable of clearing the boundary when situation demands.
