Urdu teachers? protest

THE PRIMARY Urdu Teachers Association protested against the recent shake-up carried out by the Basick Siksha Adhikari (BSA). A delegation under the leadership of their president met financial adviser to CM Surendra Mohan Agrawal and demanded the cancellation of the posting of the primary Urdu teachers.

A delegation under the leadership of their president met financial adviser to CM Surendra Mohan Agrawal and demanded the cancellation of the posting of the primary Urdu teachers.

Besides, they handed over a memorandum to the minister.

A press communiqué issued by president of the Association Abdul Kuddus Khan alleged that recent reshuffle of Urdu teachers was being done under the mallafide intention of BSA officials. Besides, they alleged that certain officials of the BSA are trying to minimize the increasing attachment of minority community towards the present state government by making the reshuffle of the Urdu teachers.

The leaders termed the recent transfers of Urdu Teachers as anti norms. They added that Urdu teachers had been appointed to promote the Urdu language in the state. Whereas, recent reshuffle of Urdu teachers was likely to hamper in their object said Kuddus.

Kuddus demanded the cancellation of recent reshuffle of Urdu teachers by BSA’s office. The delegation included Mumtaj Ahmad, Jafar Ansari, Afjal Ahmad, Sarfaraj, Md Samim and Abdul Majid.
