Doctors at state-run Chest Hospital, where the US-based NRI was referred straight from International airport here upon his arrival, said his sample, sent to National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD), tested negative.

So far no person in India was tested positive for Swine flu, they told PTI.

Meanwhile, a special team of doctors monitoring the Swine flu cases at the airport, referred a 29-year-old passenger, who arrived from Frankfurt, to the Chest Hospital after he developed symptoms of the disease.

His throat, nasal and Swabs blood samples were collected and sent to NICD for testing, they said.
