US lawmaker seeks probe into visa issue

Top US lawmaker Chuck Grassley on Thursday wrote to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, demanding investigations into the allegations that Infosys managementdecided to use the B-1 business visitor visa programme to get around H-1B programme restrictions.
B-1 programme is used by companies to hire foreign workers, not subject to the cap and the prevailing wage requirements of the H-1B programme.
