Chief Income Tax Commissioner Ashvini Kumar Luthara presided over the meeting. In his presidential address Luthara stressed on greater use of the national language for development, emotional integration and preservation of independence of the country.
Nearly 100 Hindi officers of 86 Central Government offices in the City took part in the meeting. Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti secretary Vinita Dubey read out details of the reports about greater use of Hindi in Central Government offices in the last six months.
Vice-president of the Samiti Yogendra Krishna Geha proposed the vote of thanks.
