“The three are not at all guilty and we all know how confessions are extorted by the police by extreme torture. We appeal to the Chief Justice of India to intervene and save the lives of the three innocents,” Vaiko told presspersons on Monday.

Noted criminal lawyer Ram Jethmalani is expected to argue on behalf of the three convicts. His juniors have already met the convicts in Vellore jail.
