VHP state president Narpat Singh Shekhawat wrote a letter to the motor garage on March 11 saying that he organisation would not accept a Muslim driver for Togadia, a CPI press release said.

The press release slammed the VHP move and flayed the president for making a "mockery" of the Indian constitution.

The truth is that the VHP has discriminated against an employee on the basis of his religion, the release added.
