VNS inter-press cricket from Feb 3

VNS INSTITUTE will organise the inter press cricket tournament at Old Campion Ground from February 3. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the tournament.

Talking to media persons here today, president Bhopal Sports’ Journalists Association (BSJA) Sanjay Pandey said the tournament would be organised on a knock-out basis.

In all, 20 teams of various media will participate in the tournament. Everyday two matches of 25 overs each will be played. When asked about the objective of the tournament Panday said, “This was the only tournament of the City where all journalists of the City come together and contest for a trophy.”

Apart from winners and runners up trophy, various individual prizes including best bowler, best wicketkeeper, best batsman, man of the series will be distributed.
