Voters' awareness rally taken out at Leh

The Ladakh Cycling Club, which was founded in Leh on Sunday, organised its maiden 10-km rally to increase awareness on voters' participation in the parliamentary elections in Leh.

The rally that was flagged off by Leh deputy commissioner Simrandeep Singh started from Leh police station and culminated at the district police lines after covering a distance of 10 km.

Throughout the route, the district electoral officer and Leh SP Sunil Gupta appealed to people to come out and vote on May 7. Students, volunteers, and officers participated in the rally, which passed through all the prominent places in Leh bazaar.
