Whither nuclear deal?
Two years after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President George W Bush inked the historic nuclear agreement that had heralded an era in which India's N-isolation would be a thing of the past, the UPA Govt finds itself in a bind, and is facing the worst-ever crisis after it came to power in 2004. ...Before this deal really goes through, there are many issues that need to be resolved: IAEA safeguards, NSG clearance and so on.
