"I have already said much on Batla house incident... where was Sonia Gandhi at that time when the encounter took place...Today it is being said that she had shed tears," Yadav told reporters.

The SP chief was responding to media queries on Khurshid's statement.

Regarding media reports on SIT giving a clean chit to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi in post-Godhra riots, Yadav refused to comment saying that he has not read about the news.

To a question on encephalitis claiming hundreds of lives in Purvanchal districts, Yadav promised to give more importance to the health infrastructure there if he managed to come back in power.
