“The United States stands firmly with India against terrorism. We will continue to seek justice for those killed and injured in Mumbai,” US ambassador to India, Timothy Roemer said in New Delhi on Wednesday. This was his first interaction with the media since assuming office.

Asked if evidence provided by India against Sayeed was credible, Roemer said the US was determined to bring to justice those behind the Mumbai attacks and “that includes everybody that you mentioned”.

“We will work closely with India to share the lessons we learned from our terror attacks of September 11, 2001,” he said.
