According to a complaint filed by the woman's husband Yadav Kukde, his wife Roopali had delivered a male child on August 8, 2008 through caesarean section in a private hospital.

She lost her consciousness later and slipped into coma.

After seeking opinion of a panel of doctors from government-run Sassoon general hospital on possible medical negligence in the case, three doctors including an anaesthetist involved in the procedure have been booked, police said on Wedesday.
