Woman lawyers' murder shocks Delhi

The mother-daughter duo, who were practising at High Court, were found dead at their South Delhi residence.

A mother-daughter duo of lawyers practising at the High Court in the national capital were found dead on Sunday morning at their residence in a posh area of South Delhi, police said.

The bodies of Swarna Mahajan (mother) and Anuradha Mahajan (daughter) were found when the maid visited their house at Siddartha Enclave in the morning, they said.

According to the maid, two people visited the Mahajans on Saturday evening and everything was fine when she (servant) left the place at around 10 pm, police said.

The car, in which two people came, had a UP number plate and police is looking for more details, they said adding the hands and legs of the two ladies were tied.

A case of murder has been registered, police added.
