The police said that the three, who allegedly wanted to lay their hands on the property of Rachakonda Bharati (59) after she died, were arrested on Thursday night on charges of attempt to murder following a complaint lodged by Bharati.
They were later produced in a court and sent to jail for two weeks.
Bharati, a resident of Guntur, 330 km east of Hyderabad, alleged that her daughter Kameswari(32), step-daughter Durga(35) and Durga`s husband Sambasiva Rao(36) took Bharati to a local hospital last month in the garb of treating her fever and got her injected with contaminated blood. She later tested positive for HIV.
Kameswari worked as a nurse at that hospital.
