"Republic Day is an occasion when we look at our achievements as a nation with pride and satisfaction. On this day, we should rededicate ourselves to the cause of social justice and equality on which our Republic was founded," she said in her message on the occasion of the 61st Republic Day.

The speaker also asked all citizens to reiterate their commitment to make India a prosperous nation.
