Writer claims Enthiran his idea, files police complaint

A Tamil writer-cum-journalist today filed a complaint with the Chennai Police accusing the makers of Rajnikant-starrer Enthiran of stealing the story idea from a piece written by him in 1996.

A Tamil writer-cum-journalist today filed a complaint with the Chennai Police accusing the makers of Rajnikant-starrer Enthiran of stealing the story idea from a piece written by him in 1996.

Aarur Tamil Nadan alias Amutha Tamil Nadan accused director Shankar and producer Kalanithi Maran of lifting the movie's plot from his work Jugiba, which he said was published in a magazine in 1996.

He told reporters that the the plot had been taken from his work. He had sent legal notices to the producers of the film.
