Indore: Pvt medical college ex-GM Rahguvanshi grilled for 7 hours

Pradeep Raghuvangshi,who was general manager at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), was grilled by enforcement directorate (ED) officials in connection with PMT scam.

PMT scam accused Pradeep Raghuvangshi was quizzed for over seven hours by enforcement directorate (ED) officials on Wednesday.

Sources said that Raghuvangshi, who was general manager at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), refused to accept that he was involved in any crime and neither did he blame any one.

When confronted with the fact that Rs 1.92 crore had been recovered from his house following a raid by STF, Raghuvangshi told the ED officials that his wife and his advocate friend knew about the source of the money.

ED officials said they will now question Raghuvangshi’s wife and his lawyer friend in this connection. The officials said that since Raghuvangshi was not admitting his role in the scam they would have to call him once again sometime next week and present additional corroborative evidence to break him down.

The officials also said that Raghuvangshi was suffering from cough and was taking medicines during questioning, so they were a bit lenient with him.
