Gambhir explained his decision, saying his side has been chasing well in the tournament and he didn’t want to change that.

Gambhir’s Rising Pune skipper MS Dhoni said it was unfortunate his team’s opener Kevin Pietersen was ruled out of the tournament due to a calf injury.
