Alok Vashishtha, IGP of Bharatpur range, received the message on Friday evening, the officer said.

When police traced location of the mobile phone from which message was sent, they found that the device belongs to Abdul Shakri, 36, of Kishorepura area in Kota.

Kota City police chief Anshuman Bhomiya said the accused belongs to Karauli district but currently working as a builder in Delhi.

He was in Kota as some of his relatives live in the city. Shakir was arrested on Friday night.

He said the man had sent the message as he wants action on some people who had manhandled his uncle and ransacked his house last week in Karauli.

In his message, Shakir has accused those people of having links with terrorist groups, Bhomiya said.
