Mayawati sets out to woo Rajasthan

Hitting at both the prominent political parties BJP and Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday said, “It is because of these two parties and their policies that people have to bear the brunt of inflation and corruption.”

Addressing a public meeting in Dausa for party candidate Chandu Lal Meena, she claimed that inflation was a result of wrong economic policies of central government. “Governance in state and centre are in wrong hands leading to backwardness,” she added.

BSP is contesting on 23 parliamentary seats across the state. Mayawati also addressed a public meeting in Churu district of Rajasthan in support of party candidate Abhinesh Meharshi.

She asked people not to believe on the manifestos of the parties as they just make promises but do not implement even 50% of it.
