He is apparently the first visually impaired student in the district to score this percentage. Sunil also scored cent per cent in mathematics.

Son of constable, Sunil wants to become an IAS officer one day to help others like him come into the mainstream.

Drawing inspiration from Helen Keller, he says like her, he too, did not allow his disability to come in the way of his ambition.

He thanked his parents for their support. He says, “without them this success would not have been possible.”

He said he will take the UPSC exams after completing IIT.

Sunil also attributed his success to Niharika who wrote his exams. “Niharika helped me immensely and was very cooperative,” he said. His school principal MS Shekhawat said he is an inspiration to others.
