Reacting to reports that Trinamool Congress was not happy with the functioning of the UPA, she said, “Why do you ask me about whether I would continue to support the government. I want to make it clear that we are with the government.”

It was reported that Mamata was unhappy at the way her party was being undermined by the Congress. At a press conference a few days ago, she had alleged that despite being the second largest party in the UPA, she was not given due respects.

But, she had also said since her party had entered into a pre-poll alliance with the Congress, she would continue to extend support to them.
