You have a long day ahead of you. From religiously fasting all-day to being a part of elaborate puja ceremonies — there’s a lot that will tire you out. Get that glow back on your face with quick and easy 5-minute beauty mixes. These include natural scrubs and cleansers that you can use to exfoliate and de-stress with a massage, before you share your first meal, in the entire day, with your loved ones. Here are three of our favourites.

Brown sugar and Milk mix
Brown sugar also acts like a natural face scrub that can help you exfoliate your face and get rid of facial fatigue. Take a bowl, and cut-open three sachets of granulated brown sugar into it. Add a dash of milk and a dollop of your everyday moisturiser, along with with an easy helping of honey, and whip it well. Now, use the thick mix as a scrub. If you want to store the scrub for later use, skip the milk and just save the sugar and moisturiser mix in a pot.

Oat meal scrub
Ground oats can be used as natural exfoliators for the skin. Mix them with honey in a bowl, a dash of lemon and some milk. The oatmeal should not have too many chunky elements — make sure the oats are well grounded so they don’t scratch your skin. Use the pack evenly across your face. This stimulates your blood circulation and helps you de-stress.

Green tea eye pack & Cleanser
Here’s giving baggy eyes a new remedy! Run two green tea bags under hot water and when they have cooled down a bit, place one on each eye for two minutes. Green tea contents are also used as a quick face cleanser. After soaking a tea bag in hot water for about 20 seconds, cut the bag open and pour the contents into a bowl full of hot water. You can also add a liquid (not gel or a creamy) facewash to the mix for some texture. Now apply evenly, massage and wash.
