The star is known for following a dedicated fitness routine featuring a mix of training techniques, including bodyweight training, strength training, yoga, cardio and more. Shilpa Shetty's recipe for Abs Of Steel

On Monday, Shilpa Shetty posted a workout clip from her exercise session at the gym. The actor posted the video with the caption, "Recipe for ABS OF STEEL [flexing muscle emoji]," and hashtags like #MondayMotivation, #SwasthRahoMastRaho, #fitness, #SSKsFitnessChallenge, and #FitIndia. She also shared the steps to achieve swoon-worthy abs like her and invited her followers to follow the routine during their next workout to build core strength. Lastly, the post features three exercises. Check out the video below to see them.

According to Shilpa Shetty, the steps to achieve 'abs of steel' are -

1) A bench for these bodyweight core exercises.

2) Perform each exercise for 45 seconds in a circuit.

3) Rest for 45 seconds & repeat for four rounds.

The video begins with her doing a variation of leg raises, followed by left-to-right leg raises and side-body crunches. Dressed in a black tank top, printed tights, trainers, and a ponytail, Shilpa nailed the routine.

Meanwhile, abdominal exercises target the back muscles and the spine, making them more flexible and less rigid, thus reducing lower back pain. They also improve body posture, core strength, balance and coordination, and functional fitness.

On the work front

Shilpa will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force, marking her web series debut. She also has Sukhee and Kannada film KD in the pipeline.
