Big B files writ against land cancellation

Bachchan has filed a petition in the court challenging the Faizabad Commissioner's order canceling the allotment of the farmland to him in Daulatpur village.

The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Friday fixed October 5 as the next date of hearing the writ petition filed by megastar Amitabh Bachchan in connection with the cancellation of the allotment of a farmland to him in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district.

Justice AN Srivastava fixed the date after Bachchan's counsel filed the rejoinder affidavit.
