BSP expels Lucknow candidate Fakir Siddiqui

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has expelled its candidate from Lucknow central assembly constituency Fakir Siddiqui from the party.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has expelled its candidate from Lucknow central assembly constituency Fakir Siddiqui from the party.

"BSP supremo Mayawati has expelled Siddiqui, candidate for the forthcoming state assembly elections, from the party for not taking interest in problems being faced by the people of his area," a party spokesman said here.

A former Samajwadi Party leader, Siddiqui had joined BSP after the 2007 assembly elections and was named as party candidate from Lucknow central constituency.
