The boy was brought here soon after the incident on January 16. “His condition has improved. We decided to discharge him boy and have called him back for follow up a week later,” said Dr Samir Misra, member of the doctors’ team treating the boy.

The boy had injuries in the abdomen and chest and also on the face and near the eyes. Doctors said the injury in the abdominal cavity was severe and hence the boy was kept under observation for a few days.
