Six more SP leaders get MoS status

The state government has given minister of state (MoS) status to six more leaders of the Samajwadi Party.

The state government has given minister of state (MoS) status to six more leaders of the Samajwadi Party.

They would get all facilities given to a minister of state, including a red beacon fitted official car.

The SP leaders who have been given MoS status include Samajwadi Mahila Sabha state president Lilawati Kushwaha, who has been appointed chairperson of the State Women Welfare Corporation. Kushwaha is from Faizabad.

Ram Vriksha Yadav of Allahabad has been appointed advisor to the sports department.

Chaudhary Veerendra Singh has been appointed chairman of the Ganna Beej Vikas Nigam while poet Dr Sunil Jogi has been made chairman of the Hindustani Academy.

Ribu Srivastava of Varanasi has been appointed advisor to the State Women Welfare Corporation.

Vidyawati Rajbhar has been made chairperson of the labour advisory committee. Singer Sangeeta Yadav has been made vice chairperson of the Lalit Kala Academy. But she is yet to get the MoS status.
