The patient was a resident of Sadatganj and when the team reached on the address given by her, they found an under-construction house that belonged to some other family. The team had been unable to contact the patient till the time of going to press.

After the incident, the chief medical officer has now asked KGMU authorities to take an address proof, personal contact number and the phone number of a relative from patients coming in for H1N1 tests. The CMO has also asked KGMU to call the patient before delivering the report.

Meanwhile, a health team on Sunday visited and examined six members of the family affected by swine flu in Vikas Nagar. Deputy CMO Dr Vivek Dube found all the family members of the contractual staff at PGI healthy.

The team also visited about 200 other houses nearby to make the residents aware about the H1N1 virus and its preventive measures.
