A day after HT highlighted the plight of several third-year BCom students who are yet to receive mark sheets, four months after the exam results were announced, the University of Mumbai (MU) said it will release all pending mark sheets by this weekend. Officials from the exam department said that all pending mark sheets will be released by October 4.

“Only a handful of mark sheets are pending with us, especially those results which were withheld because of whatever reasons. We have cleared all such results now and the mark sheets, too, will be released by this weekend,” said Aashutosh Rathod, deputy registrar (public relations), exam department, MU.

Semester 6 students of TYBCom, whose examination took place between April 3 and 25 received their results late on May 25, and the passing percentage stood at 60.31%. After many years, MU also managed to declare results of all exams conducted in the first half of 2019, before exams in the second half commenced. According to information shared by MU, of the 424 exams conducted in first half of 2019, result of 200 exams were announced within 30 days, while results of 116 exams were announced within 45 days.
