MUMBAI : A 20-year-old college student who was arrested for killing a pedestrian while speeding in a BMW at Goregaon (West) on Monday, was produced before a metropolitan court on Tuesday.
The Bangur Nagar police said the incident took place around 3.40pm on Monday when the motorist, Siddharth Rajkumar Vijan, was driving the BMW along Dumping Road when he hit the pedestrian, a local scrap collector. The pedestrian is believed to be in his thirties, officials said, adding that they are trying to establish his identity. The man was crossing the road when Vijan was speeding along.
