This round was held exclusively for students passing the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) re-exams. “This is the first time we held a special round for these students,” said BB Chavan, deputy director of education, Mumbai region.

Among those allotted seats, 4,945 received their first preference, 817 their second and 340 their third preference.

The students will secure admissions on the basis of their online results announced on August 30.

They will have to submit their original mark sheets as soon as they receive them.
