3 Cama hospital staff to pay fine

Cama Hospital employees — Mahadev Gulambe, Sunil Ware and Siddhart Mohite — who had illegally rented their hospital quarters to outsiders, have been asked to pay a stiff penalty by the hospital administration.

“The employees will have to pay a penalty at the rate of Rs 25 per square feet per month for the number of years they had been renting their houses,” said Dr Shobhana Tehra, superintendent, Cama Hospital. “An inquiry committee would determine the number of years for which the quarters were illegally sub-let.”
