The two witnesses told the court that the police prodded them what to say in court.

On June 5, 2007, a case of murder and assault was filed against eight people for allegedly murdering Digambar Kotwal after he was made the chairman of the society and one of the accused was removed from the post. Digambar succumbed to his injuries.

Advocate Wahab Khan argued that the testimony of both the witnesses couldn’t be accepted, as they are tutored witnesses.
