Designed by Leah Umrigar, 34, a film production executive, these terrariums also make interesting gifting options; Umrigar is working on a special Diwali range too.
“We can customise each terrarium to match the interests of the recipient,” she says. “If you are a fitness enthusiast, for instance, we can create a Zen garden with yoga figurines. For someone who likes motorbikes or cycles, I can build a white pebbled road with tiny models of two-wheelers.”
The Green Bowl combines living plants with rocks, pebbles, coconut husk, peat moss, mud, branches and miniature figures to create the terrariums. Low-maintenance indoor plants such as syngoniam, aralias, lemon spider and agleonema complete the scene.
