The Sena publicity team put up a cut-out of Sena chief Bal Thackeray with a punch line 'Ekta Tiger (only one tiger) which has been mounted on billboards across Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Sambhajinagar and Kolhapur. This was coupled with a line saying 'Garva se kaho hum Hindu hain, depicting Thackeray as the messiah for Hindus.

Sources in Sena said the cutouts were put to remind people that the Amar Jawan Memorial was reinstated by the Sena on August 20, a day before Raj's rally.
