A global firm Bureau Veritas Certification endorsed DTPS recently after auditing various energy management systems and its impact on the greenhouse gas emissions. ISO 50001:2011 is the new standard for energy management developed by the International Standard Organisation.

RInfra chief executive Lalit Jalan told HT that they used minimum electricity for running the large equipment in the station. “We make better use of existing energy-consuming assets to save energy and thereby transmit more electricity to Mumbai which gets the entire 500MW from us.”
