Minister of State for Home, Ramesh Bagwe, who has locked horns with Pune Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh told journalists his dispute with Singh was resolved.

Bagwe, who was in Satara for a wedding, said the issue was settled after intervention by top party leaders. He refused to divulge any details about the patch-up.

Bagwe was at the centre of a controversy after the Pune police held up the renewal of his passport because of his alleged criminal background. Bagwe's spat with Singh has been on for the last few months — Bagwe had even announced Singh's transfer.

Sadanand Shetty, the Sena candidate who contested the 2009 Assembly polls against Bagwe filed a complaint with the Election Commission, alleging that Bagwe had filed a false affidavit.
