The top brass of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will meet in Mumbai on Thursday and Friday to chalk out its political strategy for the coming days.

The two-day meet of the BJP's national executive will begin with Nitin Gadkari's presidential address. The national executive of the party meets every three months.
The meet assumes significance as the national executive will contemplate amending its constitution to give a second consecutive term to Nitin Gadkari as party president.
The party is also likely to discuss the role of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi in its future scheme of things. It is not known whether Modi will attend.
The party is expected to discuss three resolutions - pertaining to the political scenario, the economic scenario, and the drought situation in parts of the country.
