The civic body is planning to appoint the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay) for the audit, which will be undertaken at the end of monsoon.

Additional municipal commissioner Aseem Gupta said, “We want to ensure that quality repair work is done on the city’s potholes, especially because we have introduced new technologies to fill them. If deficiencies are found in any of the cold-mix technologies, we will not use them next year,” he added.

“HT’s reports also pointed out that maintenance work at six of the spots was poor. To be sure of this, we have ordered a performance audit of all potholes filled this year,” he added.
