Body of 4-year-old girl found in gutter
The body of a four-year-old girl was found in a gutter near Grant Road railway station on Saturday morning. Police suspect the child was raped and murdered.

Locals found the girl’s body and informed the police. Police said the girl’s hands and legs had been tied with a rope.
The girl went missing on Friday. Her parents, who sell flowers for a living, had lodged a complaint at the Gamdevi police station. The family lives on a footpath near Grant Road station.
“The parents said they found her missing when they woke up on Friday morning,” said Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Diwadkar, of the Gamdevi police station.
Initial investigations have revealed that a few alcoholics and drug addicts from the area have been missing.
The Gamdevi police suspect one of them could have raped and killed the four-year-old girl.
