With the help of the Indian Navy divers and other officials, Sai Mauli, was brought ashore on Monday. But the nine fishermen, who are missing since Sunday, have still not been traced. Search operations are still on.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the two men, that were washed away while they were crossing the Seven Bungalows-Juhu Creek on Sunday afternoon, were traced on Sunday night.

Thirty passengers on the boat were returning back when the sea turned hostile and the boat capsized. Around 11 persons managed to swim to the shore, while the others were reported missing.

In the Juhu incident, six friends, including two brothers, who had gone for an outing on Sunday morning, drowned off Juhu beach.

The bodies of Subash More (24), Chetan Potle (23) and Kushal Gosavi (19) were found during the search operation. “While More’s body was found at 7.30 pm, Potle and Gosavi’s bodies were recovered late at night,” said an officer from the Juhu police station.

Kushal’s brother Mahesh (23), Yogesh Kamble (20) and Tushar Kantekar (19) survived.
