CBI opposes bail plea of accused in Adarsh scam

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) objected to the bail plea of the accused in the Adarsh scam stating that the investigation was at very crucial stage and the accused being influential people may tamper with evidence. HT reports.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) objected to the bail plea of the accused in the Adarsh scam stating that the investigation was at very crucial stage and the accused being influential people may tamper with evidence. The report of the commission of inquiry was the key document, the defence advocate in the Adarsh scam relied upon while seeking for the bail of the accused. Former principle secretary urban and development department, Government of Mahashtra, Ramanand Tiwari and civic chief Jairaj Phatak had moved a bail application.
