
Class 10 student commits suicide in Dombivli home
A class 10 student, on Wednesday, committed suicide at her residence in Dombivli (West) by hanging herself from the ceiling fan.GD Bhangale, sub-inspector, Vishnunagar police station, Dombivli (West), said, “The deceased, Saptami Santosh Shetty, was a student of the Kidland School Dombivli and resided at Rajsanket Society in Dombivli (West).
The incident took place when her mother went to fetch her younger sister, a Class 6 student, from school. When her mother returned home, she saw Saptami’s body hanging from the ceiling.”
Saptami was appearing this year for her class 10 board exams. She had already written three papers and was to appear for her science-II paper the next day. Police suspect that Saptami might have committed suicide due to examination pressure. A friend of Saptami said she was tensed about the outcome of her science-I paper.
